It's obvious-- everyone in Forks knows it. Bella Swan and Edward Cullen have never been more in love with each other. They are engaged and are to be wedded in just a few short months, just like Edward has always dreamed. Alice, just as Bella feared, is going out of her way to invite anyone and everyone who spares a glance her way. The small wedding that Bella had been leaning toward was, as she dreaded, being blown way out of proportion.

Expectedly, Charlie went bananas when his daughter informed him that she wanted to get married to the ever detested Cullen. Let's just say that it was fortunate that Edward was indeed bullet proof-- and even more fortunate that he was a smooth talker. Bella doubted that anyone else could have talked themselves out of that one. As for the rest of the Cullens, they were simply thrilled when they caught wind of the news. Especially Esme. She's as involved with the wedding preparations as Alice!

Alas, not everyone is happy-go-lucky about the occassion. Though he admitted to Bella that he didn't want to force her to choose between him and Edward any longer, it is obvious that Jacob Black is still in love with Bella. Even when he puts on a brave face in front of company, it is easy to see that he's depressed. His pack members are concerned, but there isn't much they can do for him. Every chance they get, Quil, Embry, Jared and Paul remind Bella of this with glares and sarcastic comments about her being a "leech lover". They think she doesn't care-- that she's too absorbed into her "parasite" to, but they don't realize how it's been affecting her, too. A part of her heart still aches for Jake.

This isn't all. The Volturi have upped Bella on their priority list. Aro is rather keen on adding another puppet to his collection, though Marcus and Caius aren't as favorable. All they know is that this human knows far too much. And if she doesn't change for the better, it is high time to get rid of the problem. Felix and Jane typically vote for the latter option.

And let's not forget about the rogue vampires that feel the need to investigate the Cullens every chance they get, like moths to a flame! Typically, this has the local Forks vampiric family on their toes. Especially Edward. The last Volturi visit has him paranoid-- and just like a leech, he is now, more than ever, glued to Bella's side.

The Cullens are definitely weaving a complicated web, here, in the quaint alien town of Forks, Washington. Each day never ceases to bring them new surprises.
